Inclusive Sports
Play Inclusive
Play Inclusive, Singapore's largest unified sports competition launched in 2018, promotes inclusivity by uniting participants with and without disabilities. Teams train for minimally eight weeks before competing in finale events. Inaugurated with badminton, basketball, football, and floorball, the campaign later expanded to include goalball, boccia, soundball, wheelchair rugby, and inclusive relays. This initiative fosters empathy, understanding, and respect through shared sporting experiences, while encouraging greater sensitivity and meaningful interactions. Co-organised by SportCares, Special Olympics Singapore, Singapore Disability Sports Council, and supported by the Ministry of Education, Play Inclusive demonstrates a collective commitment to building an inclusive society through sports..
